This is an interesting fun way to look at some books on your tbr. Born a Crime is so good! I’ve heard the audio is great but I read the hardcover and still really loved it!

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is a wonderful, wonderful book. I also have read and recommend Lonesome Dove as an American classic and something anyone can enjoy whether you’re a western fan or not (I’m not). It is a saga, but I’m glad I read it. I never knew I could care so much about cowboys! I’m interested in checking out The Master & Margarita now too!

I read “Lonesome dove” after Ashley recommended it. It was the first ( and last) western I had ever read, but that didn't stop me from loving it.

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is one of my favorites. It's been a long time since I've read it, but it's a great story. The movie version is excellent too.

I want to read The Boys in the Boat! I've heard good things too. You'll love Born a Crime! You should totally listen on audio. I used my bf's audible to listen to it haha. I also wanted to read Lonesome Dove but yes, it's so long.

I haven't read any of these books. I've heard great things about A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and I know Lonesome Dove is one of the most loved westerns out there. I've only head great things about Born a Crime especially the audiobook version. I definitely want to go check out the highest rated books on my TBR .I may just make a video about it too.

I really am in the mood to read Lonesome Dove. If you happen to do a buddy read, I’d love to be included.

I love Lonesome Dove and its sequel The Streets of Laredo.

I tried to do this on my StoryGraph account, but there aren't enough reviews there yet. (StoryGraph is still on their beta version until the end of 2020.) But I can tell you that even though I have a variety of books in my TBR, the top 5 on StoryGraph are all written by Native American women. Number 1 is Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.

Lonesome dove was great. I would recommend it. It's been awhile but I don't typically read western. This was too good to pass by, especially as I had watched and enjoyed the film. I don't think it reads like the typical western either.

Born A Crime by Trevor Noah is absolutely amazing and inspiring. I read it as an ebook but would love to reread it as an audio book. Big Trevor Noah fan here. :)
