Thank you for explaining the physics of gravitational attraction and the formation of celestial bodies. It is very helpful in understanding how Stellar objects are created.

Thank you for this knowledge, it was easy for us newbies to grasp the technical stuff. Liked, subscribed and shared as well. I always have been intrigued in the stars that you mentioned as i used to contemplate of what it meant. Thank you Sir and Thanks to youtube. God bless.

Got my telescope and adapter for my dslr. Waiting for a clear sky tomorrow night and take pictures. Also located where Andromeda (M31) is, of course I have to take a long exposure pictures to get a better image of them.

I found out some years ago that; with no Moon, no city lights and your eyes fully dark adapted, my 6 inch Newtonian gave a great view!
But it never shows the kind of color you have here. To me it always seems to show a very mild, pastel green color!

Imagine your potential, should you be a grain of sand, to find yourself in such a cloud of atoms...

In January, February and March, the constellation Orion rises after the Sun set. In June, July, August and October, it'll be visible during daytime and in November, it'll rise before midnight.

87 times. "When the metallicity is very low, however, a recent study of the faintest stars found that the minimum star size seems to be about 8.3% of the solar mass, or about 87 times the mass of Jupiter" [from wiki's page "stellar mass"]

This rules, LOL. I saw a nebula just like this one on TV.

I bought my first telescope today and even though I had to fight against the evil clouds I managed to look at this beauty with 54X (Using a Skywatcher Heritage 130p and a 12mm eyepiece).

Interesting video. It's the forces at the centre of a star generated from its own weight that starts the nuclear fusion, not the temperature. On earth, the temperature has to be 10 million degrees Celsius to start nuclear fusion as we can't replicate the gravity
