I actually like this idea of having a timer for both players and counting down whenever they are selected to answer a question, then stops once they do answer it and it goes to other player. I wish more shows used this.

Watching the first part thinking, I'd be pretty good at this. Then it got to the math and I was like NOOOOPE

I watched a lot of longtime and short-lived game shows as a kid in the 2000s, but huh, never heard of this one

This is way too late to post this, but I'm still going to post it anyways! Ogi is at 50% (if that) strength here. Aside from the brutal shoot schedule, Ogi was used to a delicate sleeping schedule and he adjusted to a new one based on the recording schedule given to him months in advance. Just before they began shooting, he was told the schedule has changed, so he scrambled at the last minute to re-adjust his sleep schedule, with little success. Ogi has stated he would've stomped Ken if he faced him in the morning, rather at midnight like he did here. Ogi would have gotten the Brett Favre and Kristie Alley questions right away and his math would've been on a completely different level. Ogi was contemplating whether to feign sickness in order for a morning matchup, but he decided to go ahead as scheduled to not be selfish.

That being said, Ken was completely ridiculous and 100% power, despite also working that brutal shoot schedule. Who really knows what would've happened if Ken faced 100% Ogi?

They should've had Ken answer the first question that Final Round, because he had more time on his clock. That, to me, is fairer.
