Lindell Bridges- Appalachian Shale Plays Marcellus

Lindell Bridges (Pure Earth Resources, Pittsburgh) talks to HGS about how the Devonian Marcellus and Ordovician Utica shales makes the Appalachian Basin the shale capitol of the world in terms of resources. He gives an overview of the historical drilling activity starting in 1775, and the first gas discovery in 1825. Now the play has spread to eastern Kentucky and West Virginia.
