ChuckleVision sketch featuring the late Barry Chuckle

The entertainer Barry Chuckle, one half of the comedy duo the Chuckle Brothers, has died aged 73. Chuckle, whose real surname was Elliott, came from a family of entertainers and rose to stardom with his brother Paul in the late 1980s, with their famous 'to me, to you' catchphrase. He died at home surrounded by his family, including his wife, Ann. Following his death, his brother and comedy partner said: 'I’ve not just lost my brother, I’ve lost my theatrical partner of many, many years and my very best friend.'

I gotta be honest, I never felt a negative emotion about these guys _ever._ They made my mornings and evenings after school, gave me so many laughs, were open minded with their humour, had legendary accents and owned one of those TV shows that no matter how many times you watch it, you never get bored.

I wish I could've met them both. RIP my guy Barry. And condolences to Paul. It's one of the celebrity deaths I'm actually saddened by for a while.

He was an an inspiration to generations for sure and together with his brother were a fantastic act .
Simply wonderful and you know kids and adults alike, some kids going through really hard times get to see chuckle vision or perhaps get an opportunity to see them live, to watch them escape into the chuckle brothers world and leave feeling good with a smile on their face. I think sometimes the old school style always has a place and these lads knew how to deliver . RIP Barry

Chucklevision was one of my favourite tv programmes as a child. The chuckle brothers made me laugh so much from 3 to 30 which I am now. Absolutely loved these two ❤
