This is 'Maiglockchen' which (according to Google Translate) is the German name for the rather pretty flower 'Lily of the Valley' and is piece number 5 out of the 11 piece 'Im Abenteuergarten' - 'In the Adventure Garden' suite from the album 'Vielen Dank' by Masashi Hamauzu.
Please feel free to check out my Vielen Dank playlist for more music from this wonderful album ^_____^
This is a really pretty lilting and cheerful piece. At times it almost appears as if the melodic line is searching for something - a line which is capped by the even more wandering grace note ends to the phrases and different sections of the piece. The four octave apart simple C sharp resolution to the piece coming as a well timed end.
The sheets for this were expertly transcribed by a fellow Hamauzu fan and pianist ramonpiano:
And here is a link to his own wonderful recording of the entire 'Im Abenteuergarten' suite where the link to the sheets can be found.
On a different note, for those of you who like to read, I've written a novel - a work of absurdist fiction which falls somewhere in between Alice in Wonderland and Kafka - which can now be found on Amazon Kindle. Here is a link to the US store. The book is also available in other territories too, like the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy etc. Check it out!
