Man to Rabbi: “If I quit drinking, eat kosher, stop chasing women and come to your synagogue more often, will I live longer?
Rabbi: “No, but it will feel longer.”

0:21 I also found out the same thing in muslim community. They might be eating something that is non halal, but they still don’t eat pork.

Hello from Indonesia 🇮🇩..
I have been to Israel and palestine (tel aviv, tiberias, jerusalem, bethlehem, jericho, etc). Israel and palestine people are good people, they shouldn't fight each other.
Keep up the goodwork, stay safe, God Bless.

Before I came on this channel, I used to have this generalization that Israel was super religious, but they are just like people here. Some are and others don't even believe. It's pretty cool!!

Too bad you didn't come to Tel Aviv! There's a really high amount of vegetarians, vegans, and vegan restaurants here, it would be interesting to hear their reasoning.

My 5 year old sister on her first day of school went up to the secular school chef like, NO PORK PLEASE. Next day they served her pork and had no idea what it was and still spit it. When My mom was asked (parents gathering) about a note My sister had about not eating pork some dad laughed. They can easily laugh we're not changing Torah. That's why on shabbat My sister prays and Say thanks God because My mom prepares kosher food.

I worked with so many jews most of them don't keep kosher exept for the religious jews. They even use their own sink. I was confused but then I understood.

I'm a vegetarian Hindu and we don't eat meat in my family but I do have relatives who have seperate sets of dishes for meat and vegetarian food. I didn't know that was a thing in Israel too.

My dad had a friend who was an orthodox hasidic jew, who liked hanging out with my dad (also Jewish, but not kosher or religious) to experience the wild side of life (i.e non religiouslife) & my dad took my sister, one of her friends and me on a spontaneous cruise vacation. He spent 99% of the time playing high stakes blackjack, but the food and him trying to keep kosher was an issue that I could see was frustrating him. If anyone had thought to do it by the way, they could have notified the cruise line beforehand and they would have bought from a vendor just for this kosher meals for him. Since it was a spontaneous trip, maybe there wasn't time. By the time we stopped in Barbados all the man could talk about was getting a tuna fish sandwich, I think he wanted something normal from his life as he was just tired of eating new food that he wasn't sure about. So that day instead of going to the beach or any tourist place we ended up on the streets of Bridgetown, not for nothing, it's a perfectly fine city, but it could be Brooklyn. We end up at some pizzeria for Tuna fish, and when he asked for a tuna fish sandwich that's exactly what they gave him. However instead of the prospered product that he's used to seeing when he opens a can of tuna fish at home. It's whole filets of tuna . The guy was literally ready to cry. I don't think he had a decent meal the whole week poor guy. It's like that saying, "Surrounded by water, but not a drop to drink"

I'm like that girl at the beginning, I don't eat pork out of habit. But I mix dairy and meat and occasionally I also eat shrimp. 😅😅

Back in June 2000, I went on a tour to Israel with 42 people. Most of them went to an expensive restaurant, so my friend and I went to go buy and ice-cream. We saw that they were all seated outside on the patio, so we went over to talk with them, and the waiter suddenly started Screaming at us! He wasn't speaking English, so it was very confusing. Our tour guide later explained Kosher, because I had Never heard of the term Kosher.

The majority of Israelis keep kosher, this wasn't a very scientific approach.

I'm jewish, i eat pork more than lamb, some people need to get rid of primitive rules, they don't add any benefits in modern days whatsoever.
