As someone who does multiple types of infusion treatments (IVIG, chemo, steroids, venifer, transfusions, etc.) as a means to survive a few more years, I have no idea why anyone would actually want to do this. Even using a chest port now instead of the arm after all my veins collapsed and the pain would make me vomit, it's no better. (Plus the obvious, that this is such bullshit I'd actually think this could be really dangerous instead of just ineffective, but whatever. Thin the herd.)

It's just like the "oxygen bars". I've used o2 since I was 9 and had to switch to a full ventilator a few years ago at 18. Nosebleeds and sinus problems are not worth the nonsense "benefits" those bars claim they provide, and having too much oxygen is dangerous.
Next people are gonna start opting to get feeding tubes and colostomy bags just as a way to not waste time eating and shitting, which will be the final straw for me, since I live that life NOT as a choice and I miss food and eating/drinking (and not having a bag of my own shit outside my body) almost as much as I miss my health overall.
