I am so glad I didn’t get sucked into the Adept mystery box. Something about their wording when they described it seemed weird so I went with my gut.
I do love my Heather Austin palette but I know Jamila hated hers.

I agree with you I wouldn’t pay that kind of money for that Adept palette. I didn’t like how it preformed on you. The liner was fine.

Definitely agree about the shimmers from Nomad. Some of their palettes have amazing shimmers, but then they release something like this and I’m not sure what to think. I wish they had a standard shimmer formula that was included in all of their palettes. And then maybe one or two of the thinner topper shades.

Sad about that Adept mystery box. I do have so much love from the brand and have most of their palettes. Also their face palette wowed me last year. I got the Aiyana one and it has such good formula. It doesn't have the blushes that the other palette do but it works well on my very deep skin tone. I did grab a few of the new Devinah mattes. Love their mattes and even so more now that I know-how to repress them properly cause I lost a few when from a few years back because they cracked and I don't know how to save them. They actually repress quite well because of how to do and soft they are. I did pick up some singles from the Nomad palette and love them. I was about worried because of how people were saying they were hard pressed but the singles.are perfect. (The singles I got are: Romeo, Mors, Juliet, Tragedy and the deeper matte grey.). I love how they offer singles. I didn't experience any oiliness on these shimmer singles. It looks like a quality control issue on the ones in the palette.

I did compare the new Nomad singles from the Love and Death palettets the singles I got from the Hudson Valley and Montverde palettes and the texture of the new ones is harder pressed than the previous shimmers. Stay honest Kelly😁🥰 if a company can't deal with honest reviews we don't want them featured on your channel💞

Adept mattes really fade on me and their shimmers and duo/multichromes crease. I wanted to love them, but I tried 4 different palettes...all the same. So unfortunately I'm done with them

I love adept (my favorite one is house of el) but happy I didn’t do the mystery box. I feel like everything you could do wrong, she did wrong with this launch. And to add insult to those who bought it, she’s already selling the mystery box items separately on the website. I don’t know if she’ll do another mystery box but I’d imagine a lot of people will be hesitant to buy.
