The fact that trent is so under appreciated in england says a lot about the state of our understanding and approach to football in this country, especially when 3 at the back for england suited literally every player in the squad when we were trying to shoehorn players into the team out of position in order to accommodate them, as a tottenham fan I've got no reason to defend trent other than a deep appreciation for how gifted he is, he's such a special talent
