Though I love much of his work with The Stones I think the best legacy of Ron Wood as guitar player is his essential period with The Faces. That is unsurpassable... and not only as a guitarist but as a writer too.

Brilliant thanks - huge influence with the Faces. Power with great touch, with the boogie fills and huge slide chords. Saw Faces live in 1974 when Rod Stewart was in his prime - emerging superstar - but Ron Wood stole the show. Huge sound. Set the tone. Got the party started.

Not sure I've seen another Ron Wood/Faces lesson. That was so cool. He gained more fame with the stones but the sounds you made on this lesson, you haven't heard them from him as a Stone.
