I don’t know why this was on my recommendation but I’m very glad I watched it.She is a very inspiring young lady.Just watched her story clip. It reminds me of a young wrestler ( I call him my son)who broke his back in a 4 wheeler accident.Just like her they don’t know what quit means. He today is a wrestling coach in Oklahoma. She should be very proud of herself. You go young lady.🏆🥇

I've a lot of things from this very beautiful lady of new zealand...She is very willing to make her dreams turn into reality no matter how hard it is, no matter how big the problem is...
She is very possitive person...

Lesson: If we want to become successful whatever we want to be in ourlives we must be possitive ...don't be pessimistic...do something for the goal that yov want to reach...

Olivia thank you so much for sharing your experienced ...it make me motivated...
I love you and may God bless you and to your family...

I'm so here for pole vaulters getting a voice on the Olympic Channel! It's annoying that our sport doesn't get the recognition it deserves but thank you Olympic channel for at least getting one of our stories out there!

It is EASIER to fix a BROKEN back than a BROKEN

Being that I have had
Chronic Back
PAIN
That NEVER goes AWAY
for over 27 years
I can relate to your health
When my PAIN is at its WORSE
I tell myself....
PAIN
is WEAKNESS
LEAVING

When you CONTROL
YOUR MIND
YOU can do AMAZING

What's interesting is that what she was forced into is actually a much more genuine sport. Winning or losing is not up to a panel of judges who decide on who looked best during a routine, and can make calls based on all manner of purely subjective criteria; winning or losing is a matter of totally objective performance. Either you vaulted higher than your competitors or you didn't. Either you cleared the bar or you didn't. The matter is far more straightforward and quantifiable.

I could tell by the way the plates went on so easy they were not 45's (LBS), I froze the video, they are 10KG which is a little over 20LBS. All total close to 90LBS including bar. Not bad for a partial lunge.
