Paul Tripp’s “New Morning Mercies” is a CLASSIC devotional. I got this new one to use for 2025. Thanks for featuring this Bible. 👍🏼🙏🏼📖✝️

I have been wishing through this bible since the 1st of the year, and it's really good stuff. Great having the devotional material integrated into the ESV text.

I definitely agree that despite the font being good-sized, it can be difficult to read that light gold text sometimes. I find I need a bright reading light for comfortable reading with this bible.

Ooooh looks nice! 😊 Crossway puts out so many different kinds of Bibles in all sorts of designs, they really have something for everyone! I recently got their new or revised and updated Daily Reading Bible and it is beautiful too.

I wish i could get an ESV like the NASB LP compacts. Pocket size with a 9-10point font. Great review.

I bought the Trutone edition. This was going to be my everyday reader, but it's not readable for me due to the very distracting ghosting from it NOT being line matched.

The type size is perfect. Very generous line spacing is excellent. Not line matched--terrible.

I tried putting a black sheet of paper behind the page I was reading, but the Trutone edition doesn't lay flat at all and having to keep moving that sheet of black paper was ridiculous. Not enjoyable reading at all. So, this one won't get read. Better to buy the devotional and read that along with favorite bible.

Dust jackets: do you keep them and use them when storing bibles on shelves? Do you take them off just when reading and then put them back on? I find them annoying when reading.

Doesn’t look too bad, but the Life in Christ one that you just reviewed is much better, for me at least

“…as God intended….” How do you know God cares how you lay down a book?

Unless he's repented of his "woke" nonsense, this would be a NOPE for me. Jon Harris from did an episode 4 years (!!!) ago titled, "What Happened to Paul David Tripp?" that details it all. Jon is always thorough and reasonable.
