I don't think they are faking how they feel but I DO think that it is a direct result of them being brainwashed by MHJ. It's not the first time in kpop history that CEO has changed and no other groups acted this way because THOSE CEO's didn't brainwash their idols.

Let's be real, an entertainment company like almost any other company at the end focus on money and it would be counterprudoctive of Hybe to waste the potential of NewJeans. The girls and their families were also easily manipulated, getting promises here and there by everyone and the debut went out of control basically. I also think for their future that the members and their families shouldn't discuss those problems and keep a brave face. Yes I know forcing them shouldn't be correct, but this is like any other job when you are faced with the public.. even worse I'd say. They aren't gaining anything with those messages and even if I'm worried for them, this will not help.

I know we throw these kinds of terms around randomly lately, but it has to be said: these girls have been groomed, these KIDS have been GROOMED.
They need a lot of support and understanding, and im sure Hybe is doing nothing like that for them...

Their work relationship with MHJ is so toxic. They've been groomed by her. No one should be considering their boss as family like Danielle wrote in her letter about MHJ.
