What is wrong with the Bar Association? Why do these lawyers still have their law licenses? What on earth do they have to do to get disbarred???

Money can buy you a diploma. But it can't buy you intelligence, decency, honour or compassion.

As a lawyer, who was born in 1957, I am shocked and dismayed at the disgusting behavior displayed by many lawyers. I never would have believed in a million years that democracy would be in jeopardy with many lawyers to blame.

Warren Buffet was asked what is the most important quality for a CEO of a company. He said "Honesty." And then followed up with, "Can you imagine the damage done by a CEO if they are not honest?" I think you don't need to look any further than Donald Trump to understand Warren Buffet's reply.

The lawyers should be barred from referring to him as president or mentioning he’s running. Neither are relevant to the case at hand.

Kind of proud of myself at age 76 to have immediately known the correct answer to the question: Where did Lincoln go to Law School. That knowledge goes all the way back to my elementary school years in Woodstock, CT. Back when real education was still alive in the United States.

They need to ask the lawyers to stop calling trump president while in court as it's a lie and if they cant even decide on his name then nothing is true.

This is what amazes me. All the uproar about, oh my, the covid shutdown of schools is putting my child behind, yet, someone 150 years ago was able to educate themselves with no modern digital conveniences.

NSW in Australia asked for bids to build the first casino in Sydney. Four groups submitted bids for the lucrative project. Cabinet papers declassified 30 years later revealed that the Trump bid was rejected after NSW State Police reported that the Trump mafia connections and financial unviability made their bid undesirable.

How could many Americans embrace FASCISM? This is beyond comprehension and way beyond what is tolerable. Many years ago, while I was in communications school, I wrote an essay about how Americans were taking democracy for granted and could lose it easily. Having been born and raised in a fascist country, and having witnessed my fellow Americans not realizing how fortunate it was to live in a democracy, I could see the possibilities of a radical change. We are experiencing such possible change now with the Trump cult.

Not only was Lincoln a self taught lawyer, his entire schooling period was only about 6 months. And his Dad tried everything to discourage him from learning how to read. Lincoln learned because he wanted to learn.

When Trump says nasty stuff about others, he is actually telling us about himself!!

My favorite quote of Abraham Lincoln: "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but to test a man's character - give him power."

Thank you, Katie. That always grates on me also to hear anyone refer to DJT as President, especially to see that in Court filings/appearances. The Court should REJECT such filings as untruthful statements and require CORRECTED filings.
