The 2024 US Open main draw runs from August 26 - September 8 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 144th time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Emma has the killer instinct. Aryna is a different player from last years Open and she showed Emma a bit of what it takes to fight in a slam. Emma will win slams if she maintains her appetite for great success! Already becoming a well rounded player with some astounding instincts 😊

It would have been nice if someone from the press actually asked her about the match between the lines. What changed to make her competitive in the second set? What did she do differently? What was her thought process? What did she actually do to get her teeth in the match? And when, in two of her answers, she referenced “who I am as a player, ” couldn’t someone have asked her how she sees herself as a player? How she understands her own game? What she tries to do, and what things just are not part of her game? There is so much insight that professional players have into the game, and it’s a shame the press hasn’t got the slightest bit of interest in this.

I'm American and became a Sablenka fan a few years ago because I was drawn to her personality and play. If I was going to choose an American to root for it would be Emma Navarro, nice young woman.

She went into the match too late, if she had played the first set same as the second set forcing sabalenka to make more unforced errors, definitely we'll see three sets, nevertheless I'm impressed with emma such powerful mentality, she gonna win a major someday no doubt about it

Navarro played great to take it to tie break but Saba was just too much power. Normally Saba makes alot of errors and just implodes but she kept that power under control.
