1. You might find it boring but villagers are really useful now! If you try and find a new village you could get diamond armour and tools in exchange for emeralds unlimited. And emeralds are really easy to get from villagers like fletcher's who trade for sticks.
2. The water area needs to be at least 5×4×5 or you wont get treasure!
3. I already said it last episode, but I'm pretty sure that if you grab a village bell and place it around your area it will stop the pilligers from spawning close to your house!

Hi! Fellow adult Minecrafter here. I just wanted to share that I love your “stream of consciousness” approach to your episodes. My daughters started watching Dogcraft around the time you began posting. We have so many fond memories of watching as a family where we would all get excited about a new episode. Stacy you are not going to fish up name tags in that little fishing nook. Having glass to block the hole is fine, but to fish up treasure (eg name tags) you need a 5 x 4 x 5 area; So that is the water needs to be 2 blocks deep with 2 air blocks above the water and then there needs 2 blocks between the wall and the block you are fishing on (so it would be wall, then 2 water/air blocks, then block you are fishing on, then 2 more water/air blocks, and then wall; in both directions)

I hope that make sense; you can read it on the minecraft wiki under Fishing - Junk and Treasure. They changed it a few years ago.

Love your videos, I've been watching since middle school and now I'm in a PhD program! Inspired by your call for silly what if questions: What is your wildlife-in-your-cabin (nonlethal) eradication strategy? Like getting a mouse, a chipmunk, a deer, etc., out of your house?

I once got woken up in my dorm by one of my neighbors in a monkey suit who was trying to get a bat out. I got up to help but we ended up screaming so loudly that campus security came in and were worried that someone had unalived in the dorm! Turns out, campus security in New England keeps bat nets in their cars, who knew?
