Observability is a critical part of building a maintainable software system at scale. We need to know if your system is health. And when something is wrong in our system, we must be able to quickly identify and diagnose the problem. It requires a mix of logging, metrics, tracing and effective diagnostic tools. Thankfully, modern cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform provide many tools to make building observable systems possible.
