They put down 100! Goodness. I don't want a lap cat. I already have one. I prefer and respect their independence! That's what I love about them. Most people just want the kittens also. I prefer an adult who needs a loving home. Kittens get adopted quicker

@HippieGirlClaire In fact, hoarding of objects or animals is a mental illness. Think about it. Would any sane person be able to live in feces-coated rooms? Would any sane person be able to see their loved ones suffer? Hoarding is not the same as abuse since the hoarder gets no pleasure or release from the animals suffering. I know it's hard, but have some compassion for the hoarders and hope they get the help they need!

Sadly some cats aren't domesticated enough for us humans.It's not the cats' fault -many of them are quite friendly and tame actually- but people don't want "just friendly". They want a cat that follows them around and begs them to pet him.Jumps on their lap and purrs all day long.Many semi-feral cats never get this tame even though they quite like people in the end and love the attention.People are very picky about their pets and they want the best and the sweetest.More timid cats are great too!

I wish I could have April but unfortunately I'm in the UK unless of course you want to send her over. There is a nice place for her here with 4 other cats
