I'm only 42 years old but I have travelled around the world, more than 60 countries on 5 continents. I ran away from home when I was 17 and never returned. I lived prosperously in 6 different countries. But I have never found " home". It took me years to understand that what was missing in my life was right in front of me. The Nature! A field, a forest, a swamp gives me that " home" feeling that no penthouse ever will. I speak 6 languages fluently but I really can not put this into words. We should worship this planet, not exploit it!

"It's said that at the time that the Spanish arrived in California it was one of the most heavily human impacted environments on the planet, that the California Indians managed California like a vast system of natural parks."

Everyone here should read _Return to the Brain of Eden_ by Tony Wright; you're welcome.

We belong to the Earth, it's not the other way around. Nature will do whatever she wants regardless of what we think. Nature and mysticism are the only things I seem to have affinity for. I'm in a tradition called Drukama, check it out. Be well all.

This is unrelated but Mckenna was into butterflies, he said something like "I was very prone to obsession... ( or something along those lines) first it was butterflies, then drugs/politics...

Does anyone know that full quote? I can't find it anymore :(

or the source of "A person who isn't afraid of losing their sanity, has already lost it." (I believe I heard it on mindrolling podcast but Im dying to find it again)

Will be forever grateful. Kind regards

How would Native American civilizations look today if they didn't get "cleared" by Europeans.
