Hannah Montana Cheese Jerky with Jason Earles!!!

Thanks to Jason Earls for making the CHEESIEST episode of Christy's Kitchen Throwback! We made the iconic Cheese Jerky from Jason's time on Hannah Montana. We take a trip down memory lane, rap about cheese jerky, and Jason shares some incredible memorabilia from the show!

Hannah Montana Cheese Jerky w/Jason Earles!!!

RECIPE:

Cheese Jerky (serves 6)

For the cheese sauce
1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
1 ½ cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup gouda cheese, shredded
1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)

2 4oz. packages beef jerky

Directions
Toss the cornstarch and shredded cheeses in a bowl and set aside.

Heat a medium sized pot over medium heat. Add the evaporated milk and bring to a simmer. Turn the heat down to low and add the cheese mixture. When the mixture thickens, turn off the heat and add the salt and hot sauce. Set aside to cool slightly.

Add the beef jerky to a plate. Spoon cheese sauce over the beef jerky and serve.

Christy has been a working actress and singer since she was 6 years old. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 14 to star in the Disney Channel franchise, Even Stevens as Ren Stevens alongside Shia LaBeouf. Christy enjoyed many years with Disney gaining an Emmy nomination for her voice work as Kim Possible and starring on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast. She went on to balance her college career at Barnard College, Columbia University with filming movies for ABC Family including: ‘Campus Confidential’, ‘Taking Five’, ‘The Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold’, and ‘The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream’. Christy returned to Broadway in her mid twenties and learned to puppeteer in the Tony-Award winning ‘Avenue Q’. Christy was married to her husband on New Years Eve , 2013 in Banff, Canada after having met in a screenwriting class in college. She became impassioned with directing and made her debut in Lionsgate’s “Christmas All Over Again”. While she still works as an actress, she enjoys living in Orange County with her husband, Brendan Rooney, and daughters, Isabella and Sophia.

I loved the way he spoke about Miley here. He’s right it isn’t the role models responsibility to raise your child, that’s the parents job. He has nothing but good things to say about all the Hannah Montana cast it just warms my heart .

I really love the way he talked about miley. he didn’t say a bad thing about her and never said people couldn’t have their opinions. i agree with him though, teach your children through their role models but if said idol makes a mistake in your eyes teach your child hey that was a mistake for them so doing the same thing in a situation might not be best, but don’t blame the idol themself. Much respect Jason! Loved this episode so much! Think i’m gonna go watch Hannah Montana and Even Stevens on disney+ now 🥰
