Even as an engineering student, this is boiling my blood. I can't imagine a scene like this when I appeared for my jee exams last yr. NTA is stooping to a new low every day.

thank you avanti for sharing this... i have been prep for this exam past 3 years .... this year i scored 601 marks and was thinking now my life is set because last year at this marks rank was around 25k and this year i expected my rank to be 30k-35k cause of competition andnow my rank is 80k and there is only 45k-50k govt seats in means i am not getting a govt medical seat this year... well problem is this was my 3rd drop and i m 21 already my frnds are in college... last year i scored 515 and got 95k rank thinking that if i scored 600 next year then i will get a govt seats for sure.... and look what they did...it feels like somone has took my energy... i dont want to do anything niw... and i dont have that much courage to take 4th drop.... we want

1.The so called grace marks are given to students ranging from 60-100 marks, this can cause ranking of a student to increase by ten thousands!
2. This year the rank inflation is so high that it feels like a really bad excuse to just say, we gave grace marks to 1563 students so that's why this happened.
3. Even if they say that 44 students got extra marks for 1 question, it just means they did that question correct acc to the book they studied, the point still remains, how can 67 students get every question correct. And now what are you gonna do with these students, they all would want and deserve AIIMS delhi, but the college just doesn't have enough seats.
4. Keeping this aside, it still doesn't explain, to give the grace marks for time loss why did the use a formula that was given according to SC judgment in 2018 for CLAT exam(CBT mode exam). Even if the student that lost time, had complete time, they couldn't have scored 718 or 719! How does this make any freaking sense?
