Lunch with David Plouffe (Uber Technologies)

Having joined Uber Technologies in September 2014, David Plouffe now serves on the company’s Board of Directors as Chief Advisor to Uber Technologies CEO Travis Kalanick. Former Campaign Manager for Barack Obama's presidential campaign, Mr. Plouffe is widely regarded as the man who was instrumental in President Obama’s electoral victories.

Since then, he has also served as the President’s special advisor and was named as the third most powerful man in Washington D.C. by GQ magazine in 2012. At this luncheon event on November 2, 2016, Mr. Plouffe shared his thoughts on technology, innovation, and Uber Technologies' role in advocating for a different approach to transport regulation in Japan.
