dude one of the PCS had this issue, like in Middle school, my PC at my station had to run to make sure my PC was fine, the fan worked, but the motherboard didn’t work and it made that noise, i made my class heard it

This happened to my laptop before since 4 minutes ago and this alarm sound almost gave me a heart attack.

I was worried because all my homework was there and i didn’t wanna lose it, but luckily this error just got fixed itself.

There was a time when I was taking the train home from college and I wanted to quickly check something on my pc. That error message popped up for the first time and I remember struggling to process what was happening as I rushed to turn it off. Since it was in a public space, I just shut the laptop and placed it in my bag like nothing happened.

Today, I'm still wondering if anyone on that train thought I had a bomb or something. The whole experience felt so unreal😭

This just happend to my laptop yesterday, but it was the HDD it was so bad that a disc platter had grinded through the HDD wall and snapped the reading arm off, the laptop was from 2017 dell inspiron (stuff you dell i lost all my hard work on algodoo)

The thing is I can never see what that screen says. After I learned big white screen on start up= big noise, I just shut my laptop before it makes the noise. The noise is so beautiful when it's not loud

i had this big around 20 inch dell desktop 2-in-1 and it has loud speakers. guess whats also loud? THIS SOUND. my hard drive apparently “died” so dell supportassist decided to yell at max volume out my speakers. when i looked at my computer just screaming i looked confused, scared, and worried because i didn’t want my computer with IMPORTANT data on it to be rendered “unusable”

my laptop has been doing this as one of the internal fans is busted, id like to ask what is the purpose of this noise? why is it so loud? its so damn scary too, like what the actual hell why would any engineer want smth to scream at you when it encounters an error
