In this reaction we take a look at a TED-ed math video titled: "The paradox at the heart of mathematics: Gödel's Incompleteness Theorem - Marcus du Sautoy". Kurt Gödel's Incompleteness Theorem, formulated in 1931, stands as one of the most profound and influential contributions to the foundations of mathematics and logic. This theorem shattered the belief in the ultimate completeness and consistency of formal mathematical systems by demonstrating that within any sufficiently powerful axiomatic system, there exist true statements that cannot be proven within the system itself. In essence, it asserts that there are inherent limits to what can be known and proven through formal logical methods, marking a fundamental departure from the traditional ambitions of mathematical formalism and inspiring profound reflections on the nature of truth, meaning, and the limitations of human cognition.

Mathematicians dealing with what Philosophers and theologians have thought about for centuries. Everything eventually reduces down to presuppositions that cannon be proven. And thus that's why meta-logical transcendental arguments are so powerful to me. Its like "cool you have these different systems of presuppositions; now which presuppositional system give me the things that exist matter of fact?"
