As a person who has Mexican ancestry, I have lost my grandma from diabetes. She loved Coca-Cola even when she was still diabetic. She died in Mexico in 2013

the big reason it’s so popular is because Mexican Coke is made from Cane Sugar, everywhere else it’s made with High Fructose Corn Syrup, I’ve tried both and the Mexican Coke tastes much better than any other Coke.

My Dad has no vice but Coca-Cola. We've basically cycled Coke Zero in when we can (as He is Diabetic now), but regular Coke is his one thing. I remember one year (years and years ago) He decided to give up soft drinks for Lent. OMG, He was a like a drug addict coming off. He was snippy, and super moody with a constant headache (probably from no sugar). I think He went the entire time, but it was literally that Easter He drank his bodyweight in Coke as soon as He could lol
