Of course, this means that it comes with a big price tag, so we break down if it's worth it in this video.

Hi, are these fans DC motors? Is the LED light a “down light” or will it light up the whole room?

This is exactly what I was looking for. A fan that will work with echobee smart thermostat. I’m looking for a ceiling fan to turn on prior to the room reaching the temp of the thermostat in order to maybe prevent the actual AC unit from turning on.

$600 is really high for just a smart. I replaced my fan switch with a GE Z-Wave In-Wall Smart Fan Control and it does the job very well.

If I'm not mistaken the L series is the only one that needs the wall controller. I believe the I and above have the motion and etc built in the fan

I didn't think the wireless wall switch paired with the haiku L. I only see the wired wall control on their website now. I don't want the wired switch as I imagine when it's switched off the remote won't work

Fan worked great for 3 months and then stopped going to the higher levels, clicked it to only 3 or 4. Any ideas how to reset it or what may have gone wrong?

Pretty expensive. You can buy a cheaper fan & control with automation switch. Also this one works with google home
