Powerful. If you have the privilege to understand, or if you don’t, a thousand blessings to all of you.

I'm not overly religious and when I was 12, I asked my social science teacher what exactly hell was. We were studying about religions at that time and he told me " hell is whatever you make it to be, my dear. We can't be certain what comes after death but what we are certain of is the present. We have influence in the present, and heaven is when you look back at the life you've lived on your death bed and you can say, 'I was a good man.' " That stuck with me until now. My teacher was Buddhist, and he was pretty old....old but wise. He would teach us to accept people for who they are and to look at things logically not with blind faith.

I am a Muslim and I searched to see why there is no hell in Buddhism. After searching for a second I was shocked to find out that there is multiple hell realms just like in Islam actually (is it a coincidence?). At the End man cannot change the truth by changing what he believes in. so do good deeds and don’t harm anyone and I hope you all piece.

"The Fire Sermon"
Thus I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One was living at Gaya, at Gayasisa, together with a thousand bhikkhus. There he addressed the bhikkhus.

"Bhikkhus, all is burning. And what is the all that is burning?

"The eye is burning, forms are burning, eye-consciousness is burning, eye-contact is burning, also whatever is felt as pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant that arises with eye-contact for its indispensable condition, that too is burning. Burning with what? Burning with the fire of lust, with the fire of hate, with the fire of delusion. I say it is burning with birth, aging and death, with sorrows, with lamentations, with pains, with griefs, with despairs.

"The ear is burning, sounds are burning...

"The nose is burning, odors are burning...

"The tongue is burning, flavors are burning...

"The body is burning, tangibles are burning...

"The mind is burning, ideas are burning, mind-consciousness is burning, mind-contact is burning, also whatever is felt as pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant that arises with mind-contact for its indispensable condition, that too is burning. Burning with what? Burning with the fire of lust, with the fire of hate, with the fire of delusion. I say it is burning with birth, aging and death, with sorrows, with lamentations, with pains, with griefs, with despairs.

"Bhikkhus, when a noble follower who has heard (the truth) sees thus, he finds estrangement in the eye, finds estrangement in forms, finds estrangement in eye-consciousness, finds estrangement in eye-contact, and whatever is felt as pleasant or painful or neither-painful- nor-pleasant that arises with eye-contact for its indispensable condition, in that too he finds estrangement.

"He finds estrangement in the ear... in sounds...

"He finds estrangement in the nose... in odors...

"He finds estrangement in the tongue... in flavors...

"He finds estrangement in the body... in tangibles...

"He finds estrangement in the mind, finds estrangement in ideas, finds estrangement in mind-consciousness, finds estrangement in mind-contact, and whatever is felt as pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant that arises with mind-contact for its indispensable condition, in that too he finds estrangement.

"When he finds estrangement, passion fades out. With the fading of passion, he is liberated. When liberated, there is knowledge that he is liberated. He understands: 'Birth is exhausted, the holy life has been lived out, what can be done is done, of this there is no more beyond.'"

That is what the Blessed One said. The bhikkhus were glad, and they approved his words.

Now during his utterance, the hearts of those thousand bhikkhus were liberated from taints through clinging no more.

If I had a choice. I wish to be reborn in hell. For that is where compassion is needed the most

I swear I believe in this! I was Christian for many years;- and actually prayed for my Grandad's Spirit to come-down;- and help me through what was effectively Abuse. This was: "One Hell!";- so-far as I experienced it at the time. I had a very: "Rough Sketch!";- of what the Naraka's actually are. I have witnessed;- maybe two Hungry Ghosts;- at two differant time's;- in two differant locations. I cannot say I have reached Enlightenment;- and wouldn't want to profess to know what it feel's like to be enlightened;- as I have my own Strugglel's;- and the Wheel of Samsara keeps turning. I find myself faced: "Possibly...";- by Benevolant Beings;- and then I can become a Hungry Ghost;- Myself. To be fair... The Charity is focussed around Mental Health;- and the people who work for it;- sometimes can be very good;- and I have been subject to the Three Poison's;- (I don't want to go into why;- but it involved me being cast onto the Street's;- and I developed/"Discovered";- that I actually had a diagnosable Mental Health Problem. Does anybody out-there know/"Can Advise?";- how I deal with all this;- when there are so-many Benevolant Being's;- who aren't seeking enlightenment;- and how can I live with this chaos?

Since human realm itself is mind creation, But it IS here now. Similarly Hell too exist to those who identify themselves with that, in there and experience it around them. 💐

So hell is just the torture we put on ourselves through our overly creative minds?

Question: why is Christianity so reviled when given wise words to the people, while Buddhism is accepted by it's teachings.

I still don't understand if these hell's literally exist as explained. Some sound horrible like being burned in fire for a ridiculously long time. Do these actually exist in that way in the same way this earth exists

I have a deep interest in meditation but very little interest in Buddhism. What is the goal in believing things that cannot be proven or disproven?

I have a strange question: what is the difference between reincarnation and rebirth? Is there a difference between the two and according to Buddhist teachings, can one remember their past lives?

Many hells and an encapsulating heaven. That one harmony made of wildly different parts. The East gets this.

There’s nothing more terrifying than a Heaven with only one vision and one purpose.
That is Kronos, devouring his children for his perfect vision. The Demiurge who gives enslavement, labeled Love.

Western Christians need to stop giving people PTSD for not being made of the right stuff. Not wearing the right hats, and 3-piece suits.
Show up with long hair, in a linen robe, say you believe in Ein Sof and Yeshua; they’ll rebuke you. Tell you to renounce those heathen gods and serve their Jesus Christ.
All-encompassing irony!

Hell and God is very real. Saw all when I died in a car accident. Don't be fooled.
