I grew up in Paso back in the 80s and back then it was very lonely. I remember there was a jc penny’s down there and we use to love to go skateboarding downtown. They had car shows and the wine festival too which I think they have gone away now. My family still lives there so it’s wonderful to see how much it has changed.

It's 25 minutes to San Luis Obispo, I think up a mountain? My job might extend to SLO in a few years, but it seems too expensive. Maybe Paso Robles? I heard it's an award winning wine area and only getting better.

Place is dead, no people walking around. Typical car centric American town.
