It's because of a difference in ping. Unfortunately, not much can be done to fix that.

You have to be within 1 centimetre of your enemy or even within your enemy to hit him, and even then it's not guaranteed.

To fix this someone needs to make a mechanic where when some one is moving in a direction instead of showing where they are on the server use pre location to reveal where their ghost is depending on what ping they have if they have 100ms delay then they are placed 100 ms ahead of where their moving like predicting where they will be for a more accurate location
