Quasi - Louis Poulsen

This is a one-of-a-kind design that will absolutely blow you away! The OE Quasi Light is a large pendant created by the extraordinary artist Olafur Eliasson. His life-long interest in geometry and lighting has been combined with Louis Poulsen’s and his shared idea that quality of light has a deciding impact on our quality of life.

This very impressive pendant is made up of two layers: an external layer consisting of an aluminum frame in the shape of 20 triangles with an internal layer consisting of white polycarbonate that is built to form 12 pentagonal surfaces. This construction also makes it appear as if the internal layer is floating in the middle of the lamp, which is extremely eye-catching and incredible. The internal peaks of the aluminum frame are connected to rails of light that emit backward-facing and forward-facing light. Here, the polycarbonate reflects the light into the room, which creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The OE Quasi Light is without a doubt a fascinating showstopper that is experienced differently depending on where you view it from thanks to its lovely, geometric shapes. This allows for endless perspectives and individual interpretations, making it unique each time it is looked upon. This lamp fits perfectly in rooms with high ceilings where the reflecting light can well and truly come into its own.
