History of Ancient Mesopotamia (From Sumerians to the Rise of the Persian Empire)

In this Lecture, I discuss the History of Ancient Mesopotamia from primarily the Sumerian Culture up to the Rise of the Persian Empire in the 6th Century B.C. Civilizations, such as the Sumerians, were famous for being one of the first major civilizations in the world and invented the first writing system such as Cuneiform. Mesopotamia became the Cradle of Civilization that flourished similar cultures in Egypt, India and China in Ancient Times.
