This is a video review of the Pro-Form Hybrid Elliptical Trainer. Pro-Form is a leading brand in fitness equipment, with hundreds of patents on technology exclusive to the brand. They manufacture many different variations of the elliptical trainer, one of which is this unique hybrid 2-in-1 machine. In this video demonstration, you will learn about the general features of the hybrid trainer and the console offerings. You will also experience a demonstration of how to take this elliptical trainer to a recumbent bicycle in just three easy steps. This compact trainer is presented as a very affordable machine at just under $400, which is an even better deal when you consider that you are really getting two workout machines in one. The first features of this machine presented are the design and performance features. The compact design is unique and easy to use, with a basic three step process that takes this model from an elliptical trainer to a recumbent bike. Users can incline up to 16% and the featured stride is fixed at 15”. Also highlighted is this hybrid trainer's quality, solid steel frame, as well as some comfort features like oversized pedals that are also cushioned, and Silent Magnetic Resistance technology that makes this trainer very quiet when in operation. One downfall to note here is that there is no power cord; it is fully battery powered. Coming to console, this demonstration highlights the 16 built-in workout programs available, as well as the 16 digital levels of resistance. The console also includes audio capabilities that include an MP3 port, iPod compatibility and two 2” speakers. Pointed out is the fact that this console does lack a cooling fan or any entertainment features; it's a very basic console. The final demonstration shows you how to take this machine from an elliptical trainer to a recumbent bike: in three basic steps, simply lift up the pedals, snap it into place, and sit down for a recumbent bike workout. This affordable, compact hybrid trainer is comfortable to use and pretty basic but it's well worth the money for the 2-in-1 design. The warranty offered on this model includes 90 days on parts and labor and 5 years on the frame.

I bought this last week and will be returning it today. The product didn't work and customer service would not provide any assistance, unless I fully registered the equipment. After a whole week of the product not working I decided no on that.

I'm over 6ft tall. And I'm just under 280. Will this support me and is it tall enough for my height?

I have large feet and have problems keeping my feet from slipping to the bottom of the pedal. I have tried various types of shoes. Any suggestions?

This Review on the pro form hybrid looks different than the one you can order at the end of the video.

Too bad you can't use the cross training part while in recumbent mode.

Unfortunately with the Proform Hybrid you cannot instantly go back and forth between the two positions. You will constantly have to get off the machine to change pedal configurations. Definitely needs to be redesigned. The computer console also has to be continually adjusted. Thumbs down!

The pro-form has been a huge disappointment
We had the repair guy come and still on level 1, .the elyptical is too difficult. My husband, .who can do a much higher level on our previous one, keeps it on Level 1.
I would not recommend

You NEED to make better videos. You are just reading a teleprompter. It's ANNOYING. No eye contact with the viewers. Do not record the whole video while reading the text. Memorize a statement and record the video for a few minutes at a time. More video editing is required but it's way better than reading some text in one go.
