How does oodine turning leaf's part black and blue indicate photosynthesis there? What's the connecton? Narrator missed writing the imp points about why only methylated water and also role of iodine in indicating photosynthesis.

Besides we can remove chlorophyll by simply boiling the leaf in water then why to use alcohol or methylated spirit?
