This is a poem for KWIBUKA which helps Rwandans to remember what happened in 1994 during genocide against the Tutsi. I wrote this poem because i wanted to mourn with my country, although I was not born at the time. It is my way of carrying the flame of rembrance and be a part of the new Rwanda, better and brighter.
