This is an introduction to a new video series called Criminal Justice Natters, hosted by Dr. Ed Johnston. Ed is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of the West of England. His research interested are centred in criminal justice and procedure; in particular he has an interest in the law of disclosure, fair trial rights and adversarialism.

Thank you so much! I am looking forward to going back and listening to all of your previous podcasts. I'm sure you offer much that I can take from, learn from, and further my own searches for ways to do my part improving or at the very least, helping to expose the wrongs in our (the American) Criminal Justice or INjustice, as I prefer to refer to it, system.

something really interesting I've been looking into is the idea of parental alienation and how the criminal justice system responds to this, especially where there is a conflict between the criminal and family law.
