This song was playing in the background of my brothers (23 years old) funeral. As I sat there, in the first row, seeing his picture on the screen, full of life, then looking down and seeing him laying there, cold and lifeless, I couldn't hold back my urging tears. But hearing this song, a song glorifying Jesus, a melody of hope. Reminding me that through the storm, He is Lord, Lord of all. This really helped me get through that tough time. God knew exactly what song to play for me. For that, my knees fall, my arms rise, and my heart burns in fervent love for our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus! 💯✝🌅

We sang this at worship last week at our young adults service. Man, there is nothing greater than having a room full of people who love our Heavenly father, and looking around seeing all of us worshiping him with everything that we have. My love for God increases everyday. Can't imagine what Heaven will be like man!

Because of my diagnosis of ultradian rapid cycling bipolar one disorder, I have gone through more than one hundred states of depression in the past 24 years. Bipolar disorder is my thorn in the flesh. Last year, my kidneys failed, and I started on dialysis. It is not unusual for me to be seated receiving treatment and then all of a sudden I bust out in tears because of the severe depression that overtakes me. I now start praising and sing songs like this one until the depression lifts. One thing I know for sure is that Jesus never leaves me. He is right there supporting me through very tumultuous times. I am honored and privileged that in the last days of my life, my suffering is finally going to bring honor and glory to the Triune God.

I got spiritually attacked while I slept, with severe pain shooting across my body as it felt like I was on fire,
but while it happened, I looked up and talked directly to my Heavenly Father as the pain became worse. Finally, I woke up thanks to the God worthy of all praise!
