My goodness, that is a lot of rainfall. I hope Lan does not cause too much damage! I am sure you know this, but this time of year is also when the Western Pacific becomes extremely active. August of 2018 was a complete mess! Late August of 2023 may be somewhat calmer than its 2018 counterpart, but who knows.
