2019: MBS denies involvement in Khashoggi killing, but takes 'full responsibility'

In 2019, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman told Norah O'Donnell he took "full responsibility" for the murder of Jamal Khashoggi and denied direct involvement.

Today, a newly released U.S. intelligence report found MBS approved the operation "to capture or kill" Khashoggi.

"It's impossible that 3 million people could send their daily reports to the leader" - In other words, taking the _extraordinary_ action of executing a journalist (one known personally to MBS who he made no secret that he hated) inside the Saudi Arabian consulate is so commonplace and expected of them, that they need not get the go-ahead from leadership before taking action.

The report (3 pages - really) didn't conclude HE ordered the killing. It assumed he did because he controls all of the players involved. Big difference. My opinion
