I am a college student. I make about 30k a year. and I can't afford to pay taxes. I owe 2k to the IRS and its climbing. I can barely afford food. Somehow I make "too much" for food stamps. I have 3 jobs. One is full-time. I had a medical emergency and instead of getting actual treatment for it I received a doctors note to take two weeks off work to "recover." Why? I make too much for state health insurance. I cannot afford to pay for actual treatment. The state I live in pays $15/hr for minimum wage, but they go off of the national minimum wage of $7.25 for health and food benefits. Why do they do this? All I can come up with is they are trying to avoid providing necessary benefits.

Unlimited debt ceiling, no spending cuts, massive money printing leading to more inflation and threatening Social Security and Medicare, these are the policies of the paid off, bought off UniParty Dems and Reps. Kevin McCarthy has to turn the floor over to Jeffries to even get the bill on the floor. Those of us looking for an alternative to the Democrats have no options. Never believe anything that comes out of the mouth of Kevin McCarthy.

Awful, awful bill! We all need a money printing machine in our homes so that we never actually have to prioritize one thing over another in the household. Creating money out of thin air is destroying the middle class via inflation, but of course the FED won't tell Government to stop it. Stagflation on the way...

As Ryan Nobles explains the process when the bill goes to the Senate I immediately think how dumb it is to allow one Senator to derail the entire deal. How can this be considered an ideal way to govern a country? Hostage taking by just one Senator is ridiculous. Now to keep an eye on that cantankerous Rand Paul and his blathering.
