Most of the time it’s usually a dirty water level probe, or a water level harness . 90% of the time is the harness . Quick tip . Remove the water level from the machine Put your meter in continuity, you must have continuity across the WLP . If you don’t it’s faulty or it’s dirty . If you do have continuity across all three pins. Reconnect the water level probe . Disconnect the water level harness from the board, and check for continuity all the way from the three pins on the WLP to the pins on harness, you must have continuity. This method will help you pin point the problem. 90% of the time it’s the harness that fails . Harness from the probe to the board . Techs pulling the WLP too hard to clean the machine or troubleshoot, will weaken the connection where the probe and harness hook up . Manitowoc has made too many changes .Good Video Anthony good to see you back.

Why my manitowoc model # ID0322A-161
When I start the cycle to start it won’t dump the water, But the pump it’s on, on the other hand when I do the cleaning procedure dump the water normally.
My question is cause on the sequence of a ice machine the first thing it’ll be dump the water remaining in the reservoir, if I’m incorrect I’m sorry. Thanks for any advice.

I have an older QD602, the water level probe is only a single wire. It currently senses that the water level is high even when there is no water in it. If I manually unplug the sensor, then plug it in when the water level is where it is suppose to be, the ice machine works fine. How would I test to see if it’s a possible bad circuit board?

What if I can't even get the water up to the probe? Says "not sensing" and I can't get the machine to make ice....just keeps flowing water and turns of the fan after trying a cycle

if you have this happen, shut it off, if it still is overflowing still it is the water inlet valve, if it stops clean your water level probe then do that check to see if it is your board.

Problems at that connector led to redesign so that all new probes come with harness all the back to the board.
