i love the notion or idea that the earth is resting and getting a break from us humans...but at the same time that understanding seems to suggest that once this is all over, we'll just go back to polluting the planet. The earth had its "break" and soon that break will be over. I HOPE humans will learn how to treat the planet better...I hope humans will learn to prioritize people over profit....to NOT continue the destructive habits we've been doing for decades...I hope this "break" won't just be a break, but a completely permanent, whole new lifestyle where humans choose to live more sustainably, where the healthcare system is just, where the food system emphasizes fair trade, organic, local, and sustainable.
