Put some well rounded edges and corners on it and yea..some nonslip material between the wood and the mattress..maybe some soft LED lights on the bottom and back of the headboard 👍..that’d be a dope set up 👌

if i'm not mistaken, having a mattress directly on a flat surface is pretty bad because your sweat can't evaporate
