Fleetwood Mac | Dreams (Unofficial Remaster)

In response to Buckingham’s “Second Hand News”, the second track “Dreams” gives Nicks’ perspective on the matter. Whereas Buckingham suggests Nicks replaced him first, Nicks implies that he left her first.
“You say you want your freedom… But listen carefully to the sound of your loneliness”
While it’s generally agreed upon that Nicks was the one who finally called things off, it’s utterly impossible to do more than guess who was the first one to begin seeing other people or neglecting their relationship. This he said-she said back and forth has gone on to define Buckingham and Nicks’ relationship for nearly the past 50 years now, recently resurfacing in 2018 after Buckingham was fired from Fleetwood Mac once more.
