All emotions are GOOD. They help us to understand ourselves and others, tell us when something is off or wrong, or right about a situation or person. Our emotions can help us to heal from the past. And move forward. The reason why some emotions SEEM bad is because not all emotions are pleasant to experience. Grief for example, is probably one of the hardest emotions to ever experience because it’s a complete lack of control of our situation and usually indicates loss of something or someone valuable to us. But feeling grief is extremely important to the healing process of loss. When we suppress difficult emotions we are not allowing healing to occur. Feelings like anger or sadness are unpleasant but are an indication that something needs attention. This is why things like toxic positivity can be a problem. There is nothing wrong with thinking positively but when it is at the expense of feeling our feelings and working THROUGH them it can actually hinder personal growth and healing. And that’s the key: working through difficult emotions not ignoring them or suppressing them. When you are angry or upset, think to yourself why am I angry? Why am I upset? What need is not being met right now? How can I meet that need in a healthy way? While it can be very difficult and even very painful, the beauty that can come out of these experiences and emotions can be very rewarding. What I'm very disappointed about chatgpt is this, when asked it to list emotions, it groups it into positive and negative emotions and leaves out so many emotions in between

I’m not sure that “rage” is a good emotion. Anger is okay, so long as nobody is harmed when it’s being expressed…

No my anger is definitely bad I’ve got enough charges and time locked in a padded room to argue that mine comes with extreme violence an extreme dump of adrenaline and a split personality with a whole different personality and memories and when he takes over it’s like I go to sleep I’ve hurt a lot of people only two times i remember and that’s because it was me not him so yea I’d say my anger is bad
