Loving the employee entering at 7:30 only to leave very subtly immediately after realising...

FIA is so worried about 20 cars racing a total of 22 races and the carbon production from that but in totality is minimal in proportion to the cars and crew being flown around the world on planes… makes no sense. If I wanted to watch formula E I would.

Im sorry but there is no way they are going to reduce cars overall weight and size.
Sustainable fuel is a big step itself. Just fix f1 calender and flight schedule. Carbon footprint will be dropped massively.
Im surprised that no one is talking about carbon footprint of producing all those electric and hybrid parts.

Bla bla bla. Just put a 20k revving v8 in it!
Keep the rest as light as possible.

Nothing about weight saving yet.

The weight saving from losing the MGU - H and smaller fuel tank will be taken up by the bigger batteries im guessing

With a 500bhp electric motor I can't see turbo lag being an issue, as a spectator these engine changes will be largely irrelevant I think but I hope removing the mgu-h improves the dull sound, the pinnacle of motorsport needs to sound raw like it used to.

Getting fuel "out of the atmosphere" sounds nice but is extremely wasteful on energy. But of course they never mention that. it's like they just collect if from the air for free XD

I like this pairing. She asks the pertinent questions, and I doubt there's anything Albert doesn't know about these machines.
I learn something every outing, and it's never boring.

the carbon footprint of f1 is mostly from the travel not from racing but lets see what happens 🤔

The drivers should be flat out 100% of the time. Its fuc$ing ridiculous that they manage tyres until the last 20 laps. Its not racing.

Given the amount of common parts and standardized pieces F1 is looking more and more like Indycar, unfortunately.
We saw this year how different aero designs are in fact almost identical in performance, why can't it also be the case for the mechanical part of the car?

I don't understand why it have to be a v6 1.6l, why not make a rule to have 1.6l engines but with free architecture? Like flat 6, v4, v6, boxer 4, etc...

Not sure I like the reduction of fuel usage per race, racing is already heavily restricted by fuel savings strategies, are we going to watch 70 laps race where drivers have a window of 20 laps to go flat out???
