I gotta say that because of you & of course a few choice other's, I managed to pick one of these up from a local Cash Generator, But saldy someone pinched my bag with it in there, So i have not had the chance to try it out properly for a review that i had planned. i was however (When i had it) getting some of the best speed's i have ever encountered while out and about on the road, I deffo need to get me another one for sure. You did an excellent job on showing this device off Adam. Well done m8.

I got the very first generation of these MiFi's here in the UK from Three a few years ago, and it really is an amazing little gizmo. The speeds over 3G are pretty damn impressive and I've never had the connection drop. I often get it out of the drawer when I'm at home when TalkTalk fails (which is quite a lot lol). If only their data prices were lower, that's the only real complaint I have.

actually, i bought a "3" sim card pre-loaded 2days ago from amazon came the next day, and for a nicely priced £15, , gives me 3000 txts, 300mins, and unlimited data usage, so as long as the "unlimited" means unlimited i will be happy to buy one of these fellas for work, as i cant get a signal here in the countryside with 3, but am told where i will be working, just offshore on the east coast, that the 3 network seems to be the best network, , signal etc for that area

What's the range like? Could it replace a home router if your adsl was dog slow? Would its coverage be suitable for a three bedroom house? Cheers. Chris

so, can someone explain, if i buy a wifi only tablet, like the ipad for example, will this give me a signal (maybe sounds a bit daft, but have been told different in an electrical store)

seem great, but 10p per MB once you go over your limit, no chance. They need to bring out a deal which gives you over 15b as I'd just replace this with my talktalk broadband (Which sucks)

These things are great the Huawei E586 runs at following Bands,
Tridband HSUPA/HSDPA/UMTS 2100 / 1900 / 900 MHz
Quand Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
which means make sure your mobile internt MHz is the top one for the fastest conedctions or look for one that suits, i had one like this from Huawei but it dont work with Telstra in Australia .(so i got one that did)

I wanted to get this but then I found out that it's not unlimited Internet. Just imagine if you went over your monthly usage on that, 3 would charge you loads of money

They claim I was trying to by pass security (which would make sense if these work over USB, but they are wireless) so their point doesn't make sense.
