RICHMOND, Va. -- An infant died after being left in a hot car near Richmond, Virginia over the weekend.
Authorities say the incident happened at a Domino's Pizza.
According to the chief of police there, the baby was found in the car that evening outside the restaurant -- not breathing.
The mother of the infant is an employee of Domino's Pizza.
The 6-month old was transported to Southside Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Charges are pending and an investigation is ongoing.
