Clarification to all people that think that the phone is only 13MP:
It is not only the megapixel that count, the sensor size is more important, and packing optical zoom in a phone take quite a lot of space.

I missing when phones used to weigh. This is a phone I would consider if it had front firing speakers.

interesting concept, one of the biggest constraints of smartphone photography is the lack of optical zoom . suppose it's a flip between form over function as optical zoom technology tends to add bulk and noticeable protrusions to the dimensions of any such device. definitely an interesting concept more than few would be interested in.

Lumia 1020 is better looking. 4 times zoom and 41 MG. Though great effort Asus. Is good to see something new, apart from just bigger screens with higher pixel-density and thinner bezels.

They need to update that software to match the new hardware. It looks just like the old laggy zen phone, when in reality this thing is probably pretty snappy

The website I usually puchase phones from has been taking preorders for it all year @ $700au.
