I also used the Yeah racing steel CVA’s all around , yeah spindle housings, yeah upper camber links . Shimmed them up where needed . Same on the rear with a 3degree toe in rear spindle housings. There is no play anywhere and free movement . Used the yeah titanium screw kit and the hard Tamiya chassis . Carbon fiber shock towers, bumper brace and battery hold down to keep the weight in check. Replaced most machine screws with titanium ( gets expensive ) . Used the stock plastic lower arms all around for a cheap to break point that hopefully won’t effect the more expensive aluminum parts . Hobbywing 21.5 brushless motor and speed control 68 tooth spur and for now a 22 tooth pinion . Need to order some 23-25 tooth and check temps . Car handles excellent . Almost hard to flip it ! .have the GT40 version but I put on a lighter Camaro body which I have yet to race . I shaved a lot of weight and kept most of it low as possible to keep the CG low . Strengthened it as much as possible . Was thinking shorty packs batteries but car was designed for the larger packs actually NiCads . But am using 5000mah LiHV graphene packs which are a little lighter .
Again good luck with your build . I’m nearly done . A couple more titanium screws here and there . And a long wait getting them from Hong Kong to USA. Next I’m going to be doing a stock only LOSI NASCAR for some oval racing after Christmas .

I bought some titanium 25mm long screws ( thinking 20 mm may have been better? May grind them down ) and aluminum locking nuts on the bottom of the chassis with all the washers .
Rock solid with aluminum turnbuckles . Don’t have any play at all and works flawlessly and a lighter setup .
Good luck with it !

I know it's kind of an old video, but if you have some spare thin washers around, you can put them between the top of the hex screw and the top of the bearing. It still has a slight bit of play, but it's much less jiggly.

Nice vid. I have what I think is a tb03 with no steering. Would this kit also work with the tb03 and what servo mounts do I need? It’s my first tamiya and I have no clue what parts to get. Thanks in advanced.

I found that most of that play is the front A arms. I have a video on fixing that. I just attached some supports. Feel free to check out my vid👍🏻

Geez thats a noisy servo you're using

That's not an improvement. It is horizontally unstable and the steering levers go up and down like a seesaw.
